Lower Back Maori Tattoos
The prevailing tatuaggi tribali communicates individualism, grace and sophistication and are found to be pretty well-liked by all tattoo fans. A quick look at the foto tatuaggi Maori will tell you that they denote high regard, bravery and surrender as in the olden days getting a tattoo or tatuaggi was a very long and agonizing procedure. The tatuaggi Maori are very beautiful and imaginative and come shaped like a whirl or curve. Some of them are combined with Celtic tattoos to arrive at even better new patterns.
The tatuaggi Maori lines are known to be the major foundation of tribal arts all over the world as they have their own distinctiveness in the Polynesian arts. Rather than on the face, the tatuaggi tribali look very attractive on the shoulder. If you take a look at the tatuaggi Maori you will see that most of the tattoos are large or medium sized and are available in different shapes and colors or simply black and white depending on the taste of each lover of body art. Once you get your tattoos done, it is very expensive to reverse the process and also extremely painful, so make sure that you select the right tatuaggi tribali so you can be happy with it for life.

Viking Tattoo Designs
Norse warriors were very practical people and their weapons' designs were usually rather simple. They valued usability, not spectacular effects. It is true that there are a few Viking Age images representing ceremonial helmets with two protrusions ending with birds' or snakes' heads, but they look altogether different and were not used in battles.
The same applies to wings. Helmets with wings are not historic. Vikings did not use them. A rather popular tattoo design is valkyrie wings based on the Max Payne movie. In that movie people see valkyries as male demonic creatures with wings. The fact is that in Norse mythology valkyries are female deities with no wings. They were pictured as serving drinking horns to warriors coming to Valhalla, a place where brave people came after their death.
The other thing to avoid in authentic Viking tattoo designs is the massive double axe. The axes used by Norsemen were rather light and used single-handed. In the period of transition from the Viking Age to Middle Ages, Scandinavians also used the so-called Dane axe, which was indeed large, but it was not double. No double-headed axe has been found from early medieval Europe.
A Norse inscription is perhaps the best way to make your Viking tattoo design truly unique. However, getting a correct inscription is a real challenge. I would advise to proceed as follows:
- Decide whether you'd like to have an inscription in runes or letters
- If you want it in runes, decide which runic system to use (there are several different runic alphabets)
- If you still want it in runes, decide if it will be in Old Norse or just English words in runes
If you want the inscription in runes and you've got the exact idea of what the inscription will be (you have the text in English or in Old Norse), then the next step is to decide which runes to use. The Elder Futhark was used by all Germanic tribes from the 2nd through the 8th centuries.
The Younger Futhark started to develop at the end of the 8th century and was accepted in the whole of Scandinavia by the 10th century. It existed in two versions: Long Branch and Short Twig Younger Futhark. You may also want to use Anglo-Saxon runes. There existed even a secret variant of runes called staveless runes.
Dita Von Tesse, Sexy Tattoo Girl
"You have to understand I was pretty eccentric. I was always drawing hearts and stars in that spot. I went in thinking I wanted a star there, but they wouldn't do it.
They were the voice of reason. They were so right."
Dita's beauty mark tattoo is not the only tattoo she thought about getting when she was younger. She had her heart set on getting seams tattooed on the back of her legs, to show the illusion she was wearing stockings all the time. But she came to her senses and decided against it.
"In the early nineties I almost got seams (tattooed) up the back of my legs but I'm so glad I didn't. Can you imagine how hard it would be to match up the seams with real stockings? It would have been a nightmare.
At that time I was researching everything about the forties, about how during World War II women would draw seams on. I thought, 'Wouldn't that be cool?' I had them henna tattooed on, but I never went all the way."

In the days of old, heroes were always accompanied by birds as they went in pursuit of fiends, ogres, dragons and monsters. In most tales of yore, the birds would fly ahead to spy and return to inform the hero of looming obstacles, thus bringing about the famous phrase, 'a little bird told me'!
Bird tattoos are also very popular due to their connection with religion as well as the mystical. Birds can be found in every era of history; stick figurines of birds have been discovered in the ancient Egyptian tombs in the pyramids, bedecking Arapaho Ghost Dance costumes, at African traditional rituals and weddings across all religions. Christian portrayals of cherubs and angels show them having wings, which are synonymous with birds. In almost all instances, birds are symbols of all the positive things in life, which is why many people tend to go for bird tattoo designs, especially for their first tattoos.
Generally, a bird tattoo design will consist of a pair of birds, depicted together. They tend to be opposites in characteristics; fair to dark, black to white, big to small. This merely shows the dual nature of the universe; where sadness exists, so does happiness. Where night exists, so does day. In other cases, good and evil are also portrayed by birds, for example, when we have a bird tattoo design of a bird fighting a serpent.
Decidedly, there are some implications to birds that are not completely normal. In China, the bird is called the niao, which also means penis, thereby bringing in sexual overtones into bird tattoos. Also, the double meaning of a cock as either a rooster or a penis dates back to eras past in the Rome of old. Some portrayals of birds are quite negative in impact. In Germany, to be insane can be put politely as to 'have a bird'! 'Bird-brain' is also one of the most famous insults in the Western World, although most people do not associate these negative impressions with bird tattoo designs
